Present perfect vs. Past simple

Mission report

4️⃣ Circle the verb inside our outside the quotation marks.
5️⃣ Underline the subject pronoun inside or outside the quotation marks.
6️⃣ Highlight or color any time expressions.
7️⃣ On a separate line, write the version of the sentence.

Algo pasó antes, pero es importante ahora.

❌ No decimos cuándo pasó.

Acciones que continúan hasta hoy (unfinished).

Experiencias → “alguna vez”.

Cambios → “ya”, “todavía no”.

Past Simple

Algo pasó y terminó (finished).
✅ Decimos cuándo pasó.
