-
Don't forget to read the full exercise briefing.
-
With 4 students each group, roam the city & find 5 stories:
-
Find a house of music, and find 1 story/experience that happened there.
-
Find a symbolic object or detail on a building or on the street. What does it mean?
-
Find a bridge over water. If the water could talk, what would it tell you?
-
Find a food place named after a person. What's the story of that person?
-
Find something that is a typical 'Ghent' product or brand. What's the story behind this brand?
-

Exercise: Stories of Ghent
- Ask around: the people of Ghent are proud of their city and will be happy to tell you stories or show you around.
- Record: record all the stories you find with your smartphone: take pictures, make a video, record voices.
- Gather: upload your recordings to your OneDrive Folder. Collect your findings in a Word doc
- Present: in the next lesson you are going to present one of the story you've gathered
