Tsimbila plays most of his possessions on offense in the low post for Fordham. In professional basketball he’ll be asked to play way more on the pick-and-roll, and that’s why his efficiency as a P&R Roll Man is very interesting even if on a reduced amount of possessions: during the 2023-24 season he scored 1.067 Points Per Possession in this situation, a good number that ranked in the 55th percentile in NCAA Division 1.

Tsimbila is one of the best rebounders in the country, and he’s a very efficient scorer on offensive rebounds. During the 2023-24 season he posted one of the best values in Offensive Rebound Percentage (12.7%, 64th overall in the country) and in possessions out of Offensive Rebounds (Put Backs) he scored 1.267 Points Per Possession, good to rank in the 74th percentile in NCAA Division 1.

•  Tsimbila is a center with great size and strength. He’s a good athlete and a very tough competitor. He’s a fantastic rebounder and plays with great intensity.

•  He’s a good scorer who makes physical moves in the low post and has potential to be a very efficient cutter and roller who can play above the rim.
 •  He’s an exceptional defender with great versatility, he can move his feet very well, he’s very physical inside the paint and he’s a fantastic rim protector.

Tsimbila has very high upside thanks to his mix of size, strength, athleticism, toughness, ability to play on the move, touch, low post game, rebounding presence, quick feet, and defensive impact. His potential as a cutter, competitiveness and athletic tools perfectly fit the international game.
