Pre-Lab Preparation

  • Ansible is installed.

  • AWS Account is available.

  • IAM User with Access Key and Secret Key is available.

  • AWS CLI is installed.

  • Python3 and pip are installed.

  • Internet connectivity is available.

Task 1:  Verify Ansible and AWS CLI

Verify Ansible installation.

ansible --version

Verify AWS CLI installation.

aws --version

Task 2: Install AWS Dependencies

Install required Python packages.

sudo apt install python3-pip

Verify installation.

pip3 list | grep boto

Task 3: Configure AWS Credentials

Configure AWS account

aws configure
Enter:
AWS Access Key ID
AWS Secret Access Key
Region: ap-south-1
Output: json

Verify configuration.

aws configure list

Task 5: Verify AWS Connectivity

Verify AWS account access.

aws sts get-caller-identity

Verify S3 access

aws s3 ls

Task 5: Verify Ansible AWS Integration

Create inventory file

vi inventory

Verify Ansible connectivity

ansible all -i inventory -m ping

Task 6: Test AWS Integration using Ansible

Create test playbook

vi aws-test.yml
Add:
  name: Verify AWS Connectivity
  hosts: localhost
  connection: local

Execute playbook

ansible-playbook -i inventory aws-test.yml
